At the heart of IFI is a desire to love and serve the nations in our backyard. We primarily do this through reaching out to international students that are attending local universities, but it’s a topic that’s even broader, spanning to working with local immigrants and refugees as well. Our desire with this training day is to see the local Christian community equipped with tools and skills that will help them in building cross-cultural relationships in our ever-increasing multicultural society in ways that allow the Gospel to shine through. This isn’t a training only for IFI volunteers, but for local churches and fellow campus ministries to come together to be equipped and encouraged to reach the nations God has brought to our doorstep.
